Born in New York and raised in South Carolina, she was known as Danielle Moinet before entering the world of wrestling.

Initially, she began her career with football and played several games, but later signed with WWE in 2011.

She started as a ring announcer, and with multiple promotions, she worked her way up to the general manager position.
