Pedraza started her career as a dancer and trained in classical ballet at the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma in Madrid. She also studied acting at Cristina Rota’s school. In 2017, she made her acting debut in the Spanish TV series “La Casa de Papel,” where she played the character of Alison Parker. The series became a huge success worldwide, and Pedraza’s performance was well-received by both critics and audiences.
Following her success in “La Casa de Papel,” Pedraza was cast in another popular Spanish Netflix series called “Elite.” In the show, she portrayed the character of Marina Nunier Osuna in the first two seasons. Pedraza’s performances in “Elite” further solidified her status as a talented actress.
Apart from her work on television, María Pedraza has also appeared in films. She starred in the Spanish thriller film “Amar” (2017), directed by Esteban Crespo. In 2018, she appeared in the Spanish film “Quién te cantará,” directed by Carlos Vermut.
